Police: Meth, fentanyl found during raid in Osgood

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – Ripley County deputies say they found methamphetamine and fentanyl during a police raid in Osgood.
Authorities conducted a search warrant at an Osgood home around 3 a.m. Friday in an effort to locate 29-year-old Blake Thomas Brashear, of Seymour.
In addition to meth and fentanyl, police say they also found a marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
Brasher was arrested without incident and charged with several drug-related offenses.
Ripley County deputies were assisted by Osgood Police and the Indiana State Police.
“This case demonstrates the importance of multi-agency cooperation and investigative work. Our officers remain committed to ensuring the safety of our community by addressing illegal drug activity,” stated the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
