(SUNMAN, Ind.) – While police have been busy responding to crashes due to the slick road conditions, troopers encountered another issue on Monday morning.
Around 10 a.m., a driver on I-74 allegedly led police on a pursuit that began near the Batesville exit.
Speeds reportedly reached upwards of 100 miles per hour despite the poor road conditions.
Stop sticks were successfully deployed near the Sunman exit which brought the pursuit to an end, according to one witness.
One person was taken into custody and their identity is currently not known.
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is provided.
