President Trump endorses local state senator on Election Day

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – President Donald Trump has weighed in on a local State Senate race on Election Day.
The president posted his endorsement of Randy Maxwell (R-District 43) who is the incumbent being challenged by Democrat Byron Holland.
President Trump described Maxwell as a successful businessman who has his complete and total endorsement.
“Randy knows the America First Policies required to Grow our Economy, Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., and Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE. In the State Senate, he is also fighting tirelessly to Protect “Hoosier” Values, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, Advance Election Integrity, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment,” President Trump posted on Truth Social.
The president then disavowed his opponent by calling Holland a “Radical Left Democrat who is opposed to NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY.”
President Trump also endorsed Maxwell ahead of the May Primary and you can read that story here.
District 43 covers Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson and Scott and Jennings counties.
