RCCF planning for 4th annual Wreaths Across Ripley County

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation is seeking donations and volunteers ahead of the annual Wreaths Across Ripley County program. 

The initiative is a local effort to place wreaths at the graves of 4,822 veterans in Ripley County during the holiday season. 

This year, Wreaths Across Ripley County will welcome 8^th grade students from across Ripley County to participate in the program, allowing them to connect classroom learning with meaningful community service. 

A public ceremony will be held at the Ripley County Courthouse at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 13. Volunteers will leave the ceremony and immediately start laying wreaths. 

Each wreath costs $17 and community members are invited to support the program through donations.
