Ripley County deputy graduates from West Point Leadership Academy

(INDIANAPOLIS) – A member of the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office is among 40 deputies to graduate from the West Point Leadership program.
The program is led by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association (ISA) and delivers principles from the United States Military Academy that can be applied to modern policing.
Ripley County Sergeant Paul Waller is among the Indiana deputies who are part of the most recent graduating class from the leadership program.
Sgt. Waller is also one of four members of Ripley County’s Command Staff that has successfully completed the program.
In the past three years, more than 150 Indiana deputies have graduated from the ISA program that is held in conjunction with the National Command & Staff College.
Waller joined the sheriff’s office in 2023 and has more than seven years of law enforcement experience.
