Rising Sun Foundation awards $47K in scholarships

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – The Rising Sun Regional Foundation has awarded $47,000 in scholarships to several graduating seniors.

Eligible students must reside in Ohio or Ripley counties or live in Aurora or Batesville. They also had to maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher and plan to attend college or trade school. 

“Awardees of these scholarships were drawn at random from the pool of eligible applicants that were submitted to the Rising Sun Regional Foundation along with official transcripts,” said Rising Sun Regional Foundation executive director Cheryl Obendorf.
