Rushville students complete 9/11 Stair Climb during fire conference

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Three Rushville students who took time to honor the firefighters who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. 

The FDIC Conference is the largest firefighter conference in the United States and was held last week at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Students Wyatt Jacobs, Brody Egerton and Jack Basturck are part of the school’s Career and Technical Education program that is taught by Mr. Richard Tracy. 

The students attended FDIC and participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, where they wore full turnout gear and climbed 110 stories as a tribute to the fallen FDNY firefighters.
