Severe weather threat on Father's Day

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – There’s another chance of severe weather in Southeast Indiana on Sunday night.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move in after 7 p.m. and last through Monday morning.

“Some storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, and flooding will be possible, especially for locations that receive repeated rounds of thunderstorms,” the National Weather Service said.

Some storms may be strong to severe with damaging winds and there is the possibility of an isolated tornado.

Looking ahead, Monday will feature rain showers while it will be sunny and warm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
