(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Sherman in downtown Batesville is now under the ownership of Immaculata Management, LLC.
The local management company is led by Tim Catalano, Leron Giesting, and Tim Hill.
Tim Hill will serve as the full-time general manager of the Sherman. He previously worked in real estate and will focus on daily operations and community engagement.
Over the past several years, the historic building was restored by previous owners Peyton Hughes and Georg Heringer. They will remain involved in day-to-day operations during the transition and will continue as legacy partners in the future.
The BierHaus and Biergarten is expected to open in March. Plans to open the 1852 and Black Forest Bar are pending.
“The Sherman currently includes an inn and specialty gift shop and this spring, the BierHaus and Biergarten will reopen under a newly signed lease operator. This opening only affects the factory restaurant and biergarten,” according to a statement from the Sherman.
Enhancements under the new owners will be thoughtful and measured, with no interruption to current operations.
