(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A new restaurant is expected to open at The Sherman in Batesville next month.
It will be called the BierHaus at the Sherman and the new ownership says it will be a new era of hospitality with a family-friendly dining experience that honors a deep German-American heritage while embracing modern culinary artistry.
“From our meticulously restored 1950s murals to the historic 100-year-old timber beams, every meal is a connection to Indiana’s past and a celebration of its future,” the restaurant stated.
The owners said there will also be live music and community celebrations in addition to signature meals and craft beer.
The BierHaus at the Sherman is expected to open in March and more details will be made available as it gets closer.
The historic Sherman first opened in 1852.
