(AURORA, Ind.) – Two rivals joined together for a patriotic moment before their volleyball game on Tuesday night.
South Dearborn and Lawrenceburg players stood side-by-side to hold a massive American flag during the National Anthem.
The 30x50 flag is owned by the Vietnam Veterans of America Larry D. Fogle Chapter 71 as well as the Southeast Indiana Honor Guard.
It was purchased by Brian ‘Biggin’ Noble and the Renegades who donated the flag to the two respective organizations.
You might see this large flag at an athletic event again, and it is available upon request for free!
Schools who are interested in having this flag as part of the National Anthem are encouraged to contact P.G. Gentrup at (513) 602-5595.
The flag is scheduled to be at a South Dearborn soccer game on Wednesday and a middle school cross country event in Bright on Thursday.
It will also be in Oldenburg next week as well!
