South Dearborn, OA volleyball honor veterans and first responders

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – The Oldenburg Academy and South Dearborn volleyball game began with a patriotic moment on Thursday. 

The two teams joined together to hold a massive American flag during the National Anthem.

This was organized by OA head coach Debbi Gregg as a way to recognize veterans and first responders who were in attendance. 

The 30x50 flag belongs to the Vietnam Veterans of America Lary D. Fogle Chapter 71. 

It was donated to the chapter by Brian ‘Biggin’ Noble and the Renegades. 

The flag is available for all local sporting events, for free, if it is requested.
