South Dearborn senior to perform at London New Year's Day Parade

(LONDON) – A South Dearborn senior will ring in the new year in London!
Mason Lusby is a cheerleader who was selected as a Universal Cheer Association All-American this summer.
One of the incentives is that she gets to perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade on Thursday.
“I am honored to represent South Dearborn High School and am so blessed to have this once in a lifetime experience,” Mason said.
She and her mom, Sara, have spent the past several days in England and have visited the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Palace, Big Ben, National Gallery, Drury Lane, Leicester Square, Kensington Palace, Kings Cross and more.
The parade will begin on New Year’s Day at 8 a.m. and can be watched by clicking here. It is expected to last more than 3 hours.
