South Decatur cancels Homecoming football game

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – South Decatur has cancelled Friday’s home football game against Switzerland County. 

The game was cancelled due to South Decatur having a limited number of players due to injuries. 

“The safety and well-being of our students/players is our highest priority, and this decision was made with careful consideration,” the school said in a statement. 

The game also served as the school's Homecoming game. The Homecoming Parade will still take place at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Switzerland County officials are hoping to find a replacement opponent for this Friday.
