Only emergency department in Indiana to earn this year's award

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The St. Elizabeth Dearborn emergency department is being recognized for quality, safety and a healthy work environment.
The emergency department is a first-time recipient of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Lantern Award.
St. Elizabeth Dearborn is the only emergency department in Indiana to receive this year’s award and one of only 96 nationwide.
“With this new designation, now every St. Elizabeth Emergency Department has achieved Lantern status within the last three years,” said St. Elizabeth Dearborn Vice President Angela Roberts.
The hospital will be recognized during the ENA’s annual conference in New Orleans in September.
“Join me in celebrating this team and this significant accomplishment that stands as a symbol of the extraordinary care, compassion and commitment they bring to every patient, every shift, every day,” Roberts added.
