Strong storms coming, flooding possible tonight

(GUILFORD, Ind.) – Severe weather is possible in Southeast Indiana on Tuesday night.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to arrive around 5 p.m. and the rain threat will continue into Wednesday.
Forecasters say the storms could bring damaging winds and large hail.
“There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather,” the National Weather Service added.
Chris Phillips with WeatherPulse says flooding is a concern tonight as 1-3 inches of rain is possible tonight.
A Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the majority of Southeast Indiana until 10 p.m.
Counties under the Watch are Dearborn, Decatur, Ripley, Franklin, Fayette, Union and Rush.
There is more rain possible throughout Wednesday as well as Friday.
Thursday is expected to be sunny with a high in the upper 60’s.
