Sunman Fire to hold annual 9/11 Walk on Thursday

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – The Sunman Fire Department will hold their annual 9/11 Walk on Thursday. 

Each year, Sunman firefighters walk 3.43 miles in full turnout gear to honor the 343 firefighters who died during the terrorist attacks in 2001. 

Community members are welcome to join the firefighters on the walk. 

It will take place at the Sunman Fire Department at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 11.
