Community encouraged to attend

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A local nonprofit organization that works to improve Versailles State Park will host a community breakfast on Saturday.
Friends of Versailles State Park is encouraging the public to attend their Pancake Breakfast.
The menu features bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and sausage. It takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will be located within Versailles State Park by the pool concession area. Carry-out is also available.
The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. The funds raised will go toward improving the park.
The breakfast also takes place on the same day as the pool opens at the state park.
Those who stop by for breakfast are encouraged to check out what the park all has to offer.
“Make plans to stop by the Nature Center and camp store, hike one of the many scenic trails, rent a kayak, or try out the beginner mountain bike class that will be offered this Saturday,” organizers said.
