Switzerland County BPA students qualify for National conference in Orlando

22 students will go on the trip this week

(VEVAY, Ind.) – Switzerland County’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) students have qualified for a national conference.

There are 22 students who will attend the National Leadership Conference in Orlando from May 7-11.

The 11 high schoolers and 11 middle schoolers earned a trip to Orlando after excelling in numerous competitions during the State Leadership Conferences earlier this year.

BPA is for students interested in pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, office administration, health administration, and other related fields.

Our students worked hard and put in a lot of practice and preparation time in the months preceding their competitions. It is impressive to see their efforts pay off by earning their place at the national competition,” said Switzerland County BPA Advisor Angela Grubbs.

The 22 Pacers will be among 6,000 students from across the nation who will attend the conference in Orlando.
