Switzerland County's Bri Stow, Ethan Jones hold college signings

(VEVAY) — Switzerland County High School is celebrating two seniors who signed Tuesday to continue their athletic and academic careers at a collegiate level this fall.

Bri Stow committed to Hanover College in Madison, Indiana where she will pursue a degree in nursing while playing softball for the Panthers. 

According to her teammates, Stow is a key player for the Pacers’ softball team, demonstrating strong leadership and a hard work ethic both on and off the field. She also found success in golf and basketball.

Stow tells The 812 that her decision to attend Hanover College stems from aspirations to continue her education and athletic pursuits close to home.

Switzerland County’s wrestling team also gathered at the school on Tuesday to celebrate Ethan Jones’ commitment to join the wrestling program at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Jones will pursue a degree in electrical engineering at the university this fall.
