(OSGOOD, Ind.) – An Osgood business says their tow truck was stolen from their shop on Sunday night.
The truck was taken around 10:25 p.m. from Hometown Auto, which is formally Bob’s Service Station on Buckeye Street in Osgood.
The cab of the truck is white and red and has ‘Hometown Auto’ listed on the side.
It’s a devastating start to the week for the family as they rely on the truck for their business.
“We make a living with the tow truck, and are on call at all hours of the day or night if there is an accident or someone needs a tow,” they told The 812.
“I can’t believe someone would steal this and we’re hoping somebody has seen something and reports it immediately,” they added.
The theft has been reported to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office and if you do see the tow truck, please call (812) 689-5558 or call your local law enforcement agency.
