Tree County Players to perform long-running murder mystery show this weekend

Takes place from Thursday through Sunday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Tree County Players will be performing the world’s longest-running play this weekend.
The local actors will perform ‘The Mousetrap’ which is a murder-mystery by Agathe Christie that debuted in 1952.
It will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. each night. There will also be a 2 p.m. performance on Sunday.
All shows take place at the TCP Playhouse which is located at 634 West Main Street in Greensburg.

Jeff and Cathy Lincourt are the show directors, Amanda Gault is the producer, Nancy Porter handles costumes, and Kim Gauck is the stage manager.

The play revolves around a local woman’s murder as guests and staff are stranded at Monkswell Manor during a snowstorm. Nobody is sure which one is the killer and become suspicious of each other. There is a second murder and a surprise finish that has captivated generations of audiences.
