Tree falls on power lines in Morris area during storms Saturday

Storms also caused some isolated flooding in Ripley County

(MORRIS, Ind.) – The storms that moved through Southeast Indiana have led to some isolated flooding and power outages.
A tree fell on power lines on County Road 1200 North between Morris and Sunman around 5:20 p.m. Saturday.
The road currently remains closed as crews are working to remove the tree and restore power.
As of 7 p.m., there are currently 395 Southeast Indiana REMC customers without electricity in the Sunman area.
There were multiple reports of flooding along U.S. 421 in the Napoleon area.
More rain showers are possible Saturday night and Sunday
