(HAMPTON, IA.) – Two state police agencies worked together to help deliver medication to a child.
A recent snowstorm threatened to delay the delivery of the medication for a child in Iowa.
The medication was at the Rochester, Minnesota airport and a Minnesota State Patrol trooper picked it up.
“Next up? A hand-off to Trooper David Lindell, who met Iowa State Trooper Bryan Hillyer at the state line,” stated the Minnesota State Patrol.
The trooper ensured the medication made it to the family who are located in Hampton, Iowa.
“Public service doesn’t stop at state lines. It’s about people, partnerships and doing what it takes when it matters most,” officials added.
