Two arrested after police raid in Columbus

(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – Two people were arrested after a police raid in Columbus.
A search warrant was conducted by the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team and it took place at a home in the 1300 bock of Woodleigh Court.
The search warrant resulted in locating over 50 grams of cocaine, scales/packaging material, $1,800.00 in currency and a loaded gun.
26-year-old Hannah Smiley and 31-year-old Justin Dampier, both of Columbus, were arrested.
They have been charged with Dealing in Cocaine, Obstruction of Justice, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
The Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team is a combined unit of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, the Columbus Police Department and the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office.
