Rushville, Jennings County students to serve statewide office

(WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.) – Two local FFA members were selected to statewide office during the FFA State Convention on Thursday.
Rushville’s Jenna Lawler was named State Reporter and Jennings County’s Lilly Sloan was named as State Treasurer for the upcoming school year.
Both students have had remarkable FFA careers in high school.
Last fall, Lawler was named National Champion in Agriscience Ag Power, Structural and Technical Systems.
Sloan has served as both chapter and district president and has been active in FFA and 4-H for several years. She was spotlighted by the National FFA organization earlier this year and you can read that here.
