Two soccer players reach 100 career goal mark on Saturday

(VEVAY, Ind.) – Two local soccer players had milestone goals on Saturday. 

Switzerland County’s Emma Parsons and Oldenburg Academy’s Claire Niese both notched their 100th career goals. 

Parsons achieved the milestone while the Pacers were hosting Carroll County. 

Niese reached the career mark against Greenfield Central. 

Both the Twisters and Pacers are having remarkable seasons as Oldenburg is ranked #1 in Class 1A soccer while the Switzerland County is ranked #5.

The two teams faced each other on September 18 and Oldenburg won 2-1.
