U.S. 421 near Napoleon reopens after 11 hour closure

U.S. 421 between County Road 700 South and County Road 600 South has now reopened.
It had been closed for approximately 11 hours following a semi crash and fuel spill.
UPDATE (Monday 10:50 a.m.)
(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – A portion of U.S. 421 near Napoleon is expected to be closed for several more hours following a semi crash.
Since 4 a.m. Monday, the road between County Road 700 South and County Road 600 South has been closed.
The crash involved a tanker which led to a fuel spill.
Decatur County dispatchers say the closure may last well into Monday afternoon.
“As of 10:40 am, latest estimate on the closure is advising 8 to 10 more hours,” officials said.

(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – U.S. 421 north of Napoleon remains closed following a semi accident Monday morning.
Around 4 a.m., a fuel tanker rolled over near 700 South which prompted a fuel spill.
The road between 700 and 600 South has been closed in both directions for about two hours and drivers will have to find an alternate route until it reopens.
There has been no estimated reopening time as of 6 a.m. Monday.
