(WARSAW, KY.) – A Vevay teenager doesn’t wait around when it comes to pursuing her dreams.
18-year-old Maleah Wolf was supposed to graduate from Switzerland County in 2026, but earned enough credits to graduate a year early.
One hobby she always enjoyed was painting nails. She attended nail school and earned all of her certifications.
This past week, Maleah officially became a business owner when she opened her own shop in Warsaw, Kentucky.
Nails By Malea offers a wide-range of nail services, fills and removal, pedicures, and nail art.
“I always loved doing nails and I guess I never really thought I’d be this young and be able to do what I love,” Wolf told The 812.
Being a business owner at any age can be challenging and Maleah encountered her first hurdle before she even got started.
“The state board lost my application to be certified and that issue went on several days before they finally found it,” she laughed.
Nails By Maleah is appointment only and is open 8-5 Tuesday through Saturday. Her store is located at 103 East Main Street in Warsaw. You can access her website here.
