(VEVAY, Ind.) – The hunt for goats will be on during the First Friday event in Vevay on October 3.
The replica goat hunt will start at 7 p.m. on Liberty Street next to the Switzerland County Courthouse.
There will be three different age groups, with 2-9 year old, 10 to 16 year old, and adults. Prizes will also be awarded to the winners.
The First Friday will also include a free concert by Brian ‘Biggin’ Noble starting at 6 p.m.
There will also be a community camp fire as well.
The popularity of goats in Vevay stem from the Fred The Goat, a wild white goat who lived on Vevay Hill.
