(BURLINGTON, KY) – A West Harrison teen has qualified for a Disc Golf Professional Tour event.
Kyle Terwilleger won the LWS Amateur tournament which was held at the Idlewild Disc Golf Course in Burlington, Kentucky.
He has qualified for the LWS Open at Idlewild which will be held in August.
“Idlewild Disc Golf Course is the #1 ranked course in Kentucky per UDisc, and is ranked #24 in the world. It is known to be one of the most difficult and challenging courses in America, and one of the hardest pro tour course stops,” an organizer said.

Terwilleger started competing in Professional Disc Golf America (PDGA) events competitively in 2023. He just finished his freshman year at the University of Cincinnati where he is part of the UC DIscats college team, which was ranked #1 in the nation.
