Winter Storm Warning issued through Sunday

(GUILFORD, Ind.) – A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the majority of Southeast Indiana. 

A Winter Storm Warning indicates that heavy snow or sleet is expected over the next 24 hours. 

National Weather Service meteorologists are predicting total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches by Sunday. 

The winter system will also bring sub-zero temperatures with bitter cold temperatures Saturday and Sunday.

The warning is in effect for Dearborn, Fayette, Union, Franklin and Ripley counties until 7 a.m. Sunday.
