(VERSAILLES, Ind.) - A major renovation project is now underway at South Ripley High School’s baseball field.
The school was selected by St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the Reds Community Fund for a baseball field upgrade earlier this year.
The goal of the project is to transform the existing field into a community asset.
“This project will be a game-changer for our student-athletes and the broader community. We are incredibly grateful to St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the Reds Community Fund for bringing their vision and generosity to southeast Indiana," said South Ripley superintendent Rob Moorhead.
Construction work is expected to be complete by the spring.
