Fundraiser launched after beloved Trojan Youth Football coach passes away

(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a beloved local youth football coach who suddenly passed away. 

41–year-old Chad Bruce passed away unexpectedly on Monday, leaving behind his wife, Kendra, and two young sons. 

The Bruce's are part of the Trojan Youth Football family and Chad has been described as more than a coach - also a mentor, role model and friend to young athletes.

“Chad poured his love and guidance into so many youth in our community. He was always the first to kneel down and console a player. He expressed his emotions with the biggest hugs that will be missed by many,” friends said. 

A fundraiser has been launched to support the family as they make arrangements during this extremely difficult time.
