Area softball pitchers leading state in ERA

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – Several local softball pitchers are among the best in the state so far this season. 

East Central’s Paige Hotze and Greensburg’s Harper Adams are leading all of Indiana with a 0.00 ERA after two starts each. 

South Dearborn’s Carli Walter is ranked eighth in the state with a 1.00 ERA. 

Franklin County’s Jillian Harris has a 1.43 ERA which is eleventh best, while Batesville’s Grace Copley is 13th with a 1.50 ERA. 

Meanwhile, Milan senior Kynadee Bode leads the entire state with 5 wins as a pitcher so far. She  will play softball at the University of Illinois Chicago next year.
