(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A local volleyball club has earned a trip to the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship this summer.
The SEIVB 16-Elite team is the first Southeastern Indiana Volleyball Club to ever receive a bid to play in Nationals.
The team has won four out of six tournaments they’ve competed in this year. They recently finished in first place during a Louisville tournament and you can read that story here.
Head coach Cassie Laker says it has been an honor to watch the team grow together and succeed this year.
“The expectations were high from day one and they continue to prove why every time they step out on the court. The crazy thing is, they haven't even reached their full potential! The best part about them isn't their talent or the wins they've had...it's the people they are,” Laker said.
The nationals will take place in Indianapolis from June 25-July 3.
