Batesville Schools mourning loss of longtime staff member

Batesville Athletics Boosters announced her passing Monday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Batesville Community School Corporation is mourning the loss of a longtime staff member. 

Bertha Hazelwood was a familiar face at sporting events at Batesville High School for decades.

She spent over 30 years serving as the assistant to the athletic director, President of Athletic Boosters, and was one of the first people you saw when you attended a game at Batesville. 

“Her dedication, friendship, and unwavering support touched countless lives, and she will be dearly missed by the entire Bulldog family,” the Batesville Athletic Boosters said.
