Blackhawk Helicopter visits Scipio Elementary

(SCIPIO, Ind.) – Students at Scipio Elementary received a unique visit on Wednesday.

School Resource Officer Tyler Campbell also serves in the Army National Guard and arranged for a Blackhawk Helicopter to visit the school.

The students had the opportunity to learn about the helicopter and also hear from the crew members.

“Thank you to the pilots, crew members, school administrators, and to Deputy Campbell for making this happen,” said the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office.
