Brookville Elementary to close due to illnesses on Wednesday and Thursday

Other schools will be in-session as normal

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Brookville Elementary will be closed Wednesday and Thursday due to excessive sicknesses at the school.

The school will utilize ELearning in an effort to curb the number of illnesses.

All other Franklin County Schools will be in-session as normal on Wednesday and Thursday.

“If an older sibling needs to stay at home to care for a BES student, please contact FCMS or FCHS to report this. A middle or high school student who stays at home on January 29 or January 30 to care for a sibling will be given an excused absence,” the school said.

However, students should reach out to their teachers to inquire about the day's assignments so they do not fall behind.
