Paint the bus for the race Saturday at Lawrenceburg Speedway

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg students and alumni are encouraged to help one of their bus drivers.
Amber Pickett is the school bus driver who volunteered to help IU Indy’s basketball team after their bus caught fire on I-275 in February.
She picked up the team and took them to a restaurant where they boarded a new charter. Her volunteerism was even recognized by IU Indy who gave her front row seats to a game.
Pickett will now be one of the drivers during the school bus races during Night of Destruction at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday.
She is driving the Lawrenceburg Schools bus and is hoping to get some help!
Any current Lawrenceburg students or alumni can meet behind the speedway to help paint and decorate at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16.
If you go, stay to the right side of the track and you'll see the buses behind the speedway.
She originally planned to do the decorating portion Tuesday night ,however, the rain storms forced her and some helpers to reschedule.
Here are some photos from Lawrenceburg's bus as well as others that will participate Saturday:
