City of North Vernon recognizes employee who is retiring after 27 years

Started working for the City in 1995

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – The City of North Vernon is recognizing a longtime member of their Street Department.
Owen Darnell worked for the City for the past 27 years and received a plaque upon his retirement.
The City recognized Darnell for his work that ranged from mowing to plowing snow, painting to hanging banners, and many more duties associated with the Street Department.
“We appreciate your unwavering commitment, hard work, and service to the city,” the plaque stated.
