Shelter still has plenty of pets for adoption

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Community members have rallied to save six dogs at the Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter.
Due to overcrowding at the shelter, the dogs needed to be adopted by March 19 or they were going to be euthanized.
The shelter put out an urgent plea earlier this week urging community members to adopt the six dogs.
“Together with your help, we saved them all in 48 hours. Thank you to everyone who shared, sponsored, adopted, or rescued these amazing dogs,” the shelter said.
The facility is still dealing with capacity issues and encourages others to consider pet adoption.
