Crews extinguish barn fire near Holton

(HOLTON, Ind.) – Three local volunteer fire departments extinguished a barn fire on Thursday night. 

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. in the 3300 block of County Road 250 South near Holton. 

New Marion firefighters arrived to find the barn fully involved. Versailles and Holton Fire Departments were called to assist. 

A fast response and coordinated attack helped knock down the fire shortly after crews responded.
