(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital is making a Thanksgiving donation in honor of a former employee.
Phyllis Baughman was a South Decatur graduate who served as the Director of Patient Accounts at DCMH for a decade. She passed away at the age of 65 in 2021.
The hospital has purchased 28 turkeys and made a $250 donation to the Greensburg Bread of Life in her honor.
“These contributions reflect the heart of our team,” said Rex McKinney, President & CEO of DCMH. “Phyllis believed deeply in caring for people, both within and outside our hospital walls. We are honored to continue this tradition in her memory.”
The donated turkeys will be used in the Bread of Life’s Thanksgiving meal, helping ensure that community members receive a warm and welcoming holiday dinner next week.
