Dearborn Co K9 helps catch wanted suspect

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- A man wanted for a probation violation has been arrested in Dearborn County.
Deputies say they were searching for 32-year-old Aaron Salyers when they arrived at a property on Salt Fork Road in Lawrenceburg on Tuesday.
"Upon arrival, two individuals were observed in a stationary, running vehicle near a densely wooded area. The passenger, Aaron Salyers, exited the vehicle and fled into the woods," Sheriff Shane McHenry said.
Deputy Konner Jackson deployed his K9 which led to Salyers being located and arrested, according to the sheriffs department.
"Salyers had an active arrest warrant for Probation Violation and an additional charge of Resisting Law Enforcement, McHenry added.
