Needs your votes to advance

(DILLSBORO, Ind.) – A young boy from the Dillsboro area is hoping to get your votes!
5-year-old Kingston Rice is hoping to get local support for a hairstyle that is business in the front and party in the back.
Rice is currently competing in the kid's division of the nationwide Mullet Championship.
“He loves his long hair and eventually the mullet began growing. He likes to get the top cut short and steps in the side,” his mother, Kelsey said.
The contest raises funds for Jared Allen Homes for Wounded Warriors, which provides critically injured combat veterans with accessible and mortgage-free homes.
Rice has a chance at winning $10,000 if he is the top kid in the contest. If he wins, Kingston said he will donate a portion to the 1Voice Recovery Community Organization where his mom works.
Vote by clicking here as voting for the qualifying round takes place until August 13.
