Dillsboro Sons of American Legion support 3 local organizations

(DILLSORO, Ind.) – The Dillsboro Sons of the American Legion, also known as Dillsboro Squadron 292, is thanking those who have supported their recent fundraising efforts. 

They have provided $2,250 in grants to three local organizations. 

Those organizations are the Dillsboro Food Pantry & The Clearinghouse, Dillsboro PTO & Needy Children’s Christmas Fund and the Aurora Life Squad. 

“Because of your contributions, we are proud to announce that we have recently completed our annual donations to organizations that keep our community strong, healthy, and educated,” the organization said. 

Dillsboro Squadron 292 also gives back to students by awarding three $1,000 scholarships to South Dearborn seniors every year. 

“We often say that we are "Sons serving Veterans, Families, and Communities, but the truth is that we couldn't do it without you. You are the engine behind these donations,” the Squadron stated.
