(MOORES HILL, Ind.) — A fundraiser has been created for the family of an infant that is in the NICU.
Lincoln Adams was born 10 weeks premature on September 30, weighing just under 3 pounds.
“He has since needed more support from a breathing tube, which gives his tiny lungs the breaks they need, but overall Lincoln is healthy, fighting hard, and right on track,” his mom, Josie Adams.
It was a challenging pregnancy where Josie was hospitalized for more than a month due to complications.
“Now, although our pregnancy journey has ended, our NICU and parenting journey has just begun,” she said.
The infant is expected to be in the NICU for several months.
The family is hoping to receive funds to ease some of the financial stress.
“Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his needs and our family’s stability during this time. Even if you cannot give, sharing our story and lifting Lincoln up in your prayers and thoughts means the world to us,” she added.
