Investigation involved undercover officers buying meth

(MOORES HILL, Ind.) – A Moores Hill man is facing several drug charges after an investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Adam Ziegler said he received information in November about 49-year-old Jerole Adams dealing methamphetamine in Dearborn County.
Undercover officers bought meth from Adams during the investigation, police said.
Adams was pulled over during a traffic stop on State Road 350 in Moores Hill on Sunday and was arrested.
Police say they found suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, a handgun, and close to $5,000 during searches of his vehicle and home.
Adams has been charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine (over 10 grams), Dealing Methamphetamine (possession with intent to deliver over 10 grams), Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (possession with intent to deliver over 10 grams), Dealing in Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Syringe, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana.
The sheriff’s office added that Adams is on parole stemming from a 2004 case in Dearborn County where he was convicted of dealing methamphetamine.
He is being held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
