East Central grad to appear in 'The Mastermind' movie

(NEW YORK CITY) – An East Central graduate is featured in ‘The Mastermind’ movie that is being released this week.

The movie plot is based in the 1970’s and is about a man living a double life as an art thief. 

The release of the movie ironically occurs just days after an art heist at the Louvre. 

DJ Stroud graduated from East Central in 2021 and makes an on-screen appearance as a stand-in for the lead actor. 

The movie debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May and was nominated for the Palme d’Or. 

It will appear in theaters in Indiana on October 23 and you can click here to see where you can watch it.
